exactly one month away from hailyns first birthday!!! how exciting!!
i talked to her gentisist yesterday and now that shes put on some weight, (Shes at 12.1!!!) we can go forward with the testing. she'll be seeing the endochronologist at the end of january to look into pituitary dwarfism && and hormonal imbalances, which we dont expect. if she does had pituitary dwarfism, there is a possibility that they could give her hormone injections to sort of make it go away, but eric and i more then likely wont do that. Hailyn was made this way for a reason! and hormone injections have a lot of reprocutions. She will also be having a scan done on her legs as they are 'just not normal' as the doc says. we want to see what her bones are doing in there and try to figure out if the chubbiness is either edema or atrophy, as it is definetly NOT fat. they are thinking its atrophy right now. we will see! the ball is finally rolling for her to get her leg braces, she has a consult on thursday for them. we cant wait for her to get them so she can try to work on standing! Eric is coming back from the feild today due to some really horendous weather. we had a bad rain storm that flooded and blew away some of their tents. it'll be so nice to have him home!! we're starting to get ready for our first christmas alone as a family. lots of cookies to be made!! heres a lovely picture of hailyn...
